Lakeshoremen Name Ellen Schueller Executive Director

The Board of Directors of Lakeshoremen Inc., are pleased to announce that Ellen Schueller has been named the Executive Director of the organization. This announcement comes after the successful completion of the 2007-8 program where Ms. Schueller guided the Lakeshoremen to an appearance in the Drum Corps Associates Championships in Rochester, NY. "The Board of Directors are pleased to have Ellen on our team for another year. This provides us with the stability and experience needed at that position, and will allow the corps to move quickly to develop the 2008-9 program." comments Tim Palmer, President of the Lakeshoremen Board of Directors. "Ellen's administrative background, as well as her experience with the group is a great asset", adds Palmer. Ellen Schueller has strong drum corps roots, as a marching member of the Saginaires Drum and Bugle Corps and the Crossmen Drum and Bugle Corps. She has also been a marching member of the Lakeshoremen, and has previousl served on the Board of Directors; most recently serving as the Secretary in 2006-7. Ms. Scheuller assumed the position of Director in April 2008, after serving as Assistant Director.
