Lakeshoremen Inc. Announce Board of Directors Changes

At the August 31, 2008 Membership Meeting of Lakeshoremen Inc., membership elected 4 new members of the Board of Directors, to guide the organization in the coming years. Board Member and Secretary Donna Scott of Schoolcraft, MI was re-elected to a 3 year term. Joining her will be Andrew Boone of Waterford, MI, Karen Sawaya of Wyandotte, MI and Kiley Davis of Clarkston, MI. These Directors will serve with the existing Board of Directors, Tim Palmer (President) and Caroline Cates (Vice President). At the next Board of Directors meeting, these Directors will select officers, who will act on the organization's behalf to expand the non-profit's programs and create an environment for successful promotion of the arts activities of the group. The Lakeshoremen would also like to recognize the efforts of the retiring Board Members, Ann Gabhart (Treasurer), Marty Gerloff(Member-at-Large) and Vince Monticello (Member-at-Large). Their efforts and dedication have provided the Lakeshoremen experienced leadership in these important roles.
